On Repeat This Autumn

The days are getting shorter, nights longer and it’s getting colder outside. I thought I’d share with you 10 songs that are perfect for autumn days and nights, for listening while getting cosy with a cup of tea or marshmallows round the bonfire with some good ol’ country music.

1. Luke Combs – ‘I Got Away With You’

Obsessing over Luke Combs at the moment and love this song so much. Also check out ‘When It Rains It Pours’!

2. Miley Cyrus featuring Dolly Parton – ‘Rainbowland’

‘We are rainbows me and you, of every colour every hue, let’s shine through’
A beautiful duet between two incredible singers about people coming together for peace in this world.

3. Reba McEntyre – ‘The Night the Lights Went Out In Georgia’

Those chords + that story + Reba = the perfect country song.

4. Taylor Swift – ‘Fearless’

Never doubt the power of an old school Taylor Swift song. Dancing a storm in your best dress? One can only dream of such an autumn!

5. Glen Campbell – ‘Southern Nights’

Because Glen Campbell and southern nights combined, is perfection.

6. Maren Morris – ‘Sugar’

Everybody needs a little sugar this time of year.

7. Dan + Shay – ‘From The Ground Up’

Such an amazing piece of storytelling in this song by the duo, emotional and heartwarming.

8. Maddie & Tae – ‘Smoke’

I always feel as though this song is perfect for autumn, with their amazing harmonies  singing about the cold, burning embers and obviously, smoke.

9. Brett Eldredge – ‘The Reason’

Do you need anymore of a ‘reason’ to listen to Eldredge’s silky soulful voice?

10. Walker Hayes – ‘Beautiful’

I love listening to this on autumn walks, makes everyday feel beautiful!
